Olson Home Buyers is a business founded by me, Jolean Olson. I’m a single mom to three kids living in the Chicago suburbs.
I run the business in partnership with a network of women real estate investors, all of whom are committed to ethical practices and empowering families.
I am a problem solver and helper by nature, and I decided to use my personality and skillset to change not only my life, but others’ lives.
At Olson Home Buyers, the goal is always to have a happy seller at the end of each transaction. We want you to have a real solution to your problem and be able to get a fresh start.
If what we can offer is not a solution to your problem, we will tell you so, and hopefully you’ll be educated in the process and able to take steps elsewhere in the best interest of your family. Some would say that’s bad business, but it’s the only way I want to operate.

I have been blessed with an amazing career that has given me security and a breadth of knowledge. I wanted to use my personality and skill set to help others and give back to the community I love.
When I bought and fixed up my first house, I thought I might be in over my head! I bought a hoarder’s house, and the family didn’t want to deal with the six dumpsters it would eventually take to empty it, or the multiple non-running cars that needed to be disposed of.
Still, I knew in my gut that I could help, so I took the plunge. The family was relieved of their burden and able to quickly move on, and I was so thankful to be able to help… and have so much fun renovating in the process!
Today I’m proud to be providing a useful service to people and impacting my community by offering employment to the hard workers on my team and beautiful houses for people to call home.
